Official opening date for Parakiore

After weeks of planning, trial sessions at Jellie Park, and some brave first jumps off the board, Canterbury Diving is ready to officially start at Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre!

We have an official opening date: 17th December 2025.

We began with nothing but an idea and a passion for diving, and it’s been incredible to see children taking their first leaps into the sport. The smiles, splashes, and excitement in the pool, even through the wind and cold, remind us why we started this journey.

With our new home at Parakiore, we’re excited to continue these early steps, grow our skills, and share the joy of diving with more tamariki over the Christmas period and beyond. If you’ve ever wondered what diving is like, this is your chance! We’ll be running sessions through the Christmas period, including Free Trial sessions, so everyone can experience the fun of diving.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us. Come make a splash with us, we’d love to see you at the pool!
