Start with a free trial!

(For children aged 5-18)

If your child is new to diving, we invite them to start with a free trial lesson. It’s a no-obligation way to experience a class, meet our coaches, and see if diving is right for them.

In term 1, free trials will normally run on:

Monday 5.30-6.00pm
Wednesday 7.00-7.30pm
Saturday 11.00-11.30am

Pool entry fees
Canterbury Diving fees do not include Parakiore pool entry. Families can purchase multi-visit passes to reduce the cost.

Where to go
At Parakiore, please ask your diver to go directly to the diving pool. Coaches will meet them poolside at the start of the session.
Parents are welcome to watch from the stands during the session.

Register your child for a diving class

After the free trial, we will advise parents the starting level for your child. Please register your diver for this level by logging into Friendly Manager.

Before registering, please view this document that contains session information.

Important: If your child has not attended a free trial session and has no previous diving experience, please contact us before enrolling in a term class so we can advise on the most appropriate starting level. We strongly recommend starting with a free diving trial first.
